Living Together, Erasmus+
3-5.9.2021
"Living Together" is the first exchange of young Erasmus + that was hosted at the house of unaccompanied minor refugees in Ioannina, as well as at the land beyond in Vitsa, Zagori.

For a whole week (29.08-5.09.2021), 28 young people from Finland, Romania, Turkey, Slovakia, France, Italy, Tunisia and of course from Greece, lived with young refugees who participated in a youth meeting. Eating together, playing together, learning together, talking together, about their dreams and future. Non-discriminatory, in a simulation of European society as it should be. The main aim of this activity was to raise the awareness of young people about the "refugee crisis" and the relevant EU policies. Also, in order for young Europeans to understand their role as Europeans, Europeans but for everyone.

Through non-formal education workshops, active participation was promoted and new knowledge and skills were offered in this context to 38 young people. The participants were informed about the current refugee situation in Europe and the future of the EU. On the other hand, we facilitated an open dialogue between the participants, discussing policies and possible solutions. The responsibility for the activity was the ICSD (International Center for Sustainable Development), which is a CSO (Civil Society Organization) based in Ioannina, with the cooperation of the next country, under the guidance of Argyris Houlias.
