Ecoscapes

First we need to understand the world and then ... to change it!

This was the mental starting point for the ECOSCAPES program that took place from the 10th to 17th of September as part of Yonder Festival, organised by European Expression and hosted by the land beyond with the support of the Hellenic-German Youth Foundation.

The land beyond was transformed into an open space for meeting, dialogue and creation where a group of 36 Greek and German students met for a week of reconnection and strengthening of human's relationship with nature.

ECOSCAPES was undoubtedly an experiential journey where object re-modeling workshops, photography exhibitions, lectures, hiking trails in collaboration with the institution of Vikos-Aoos Geopark, music nights and film screenings introduced young people to local biodiversity, Greek and German politics. the power of collective action.

His goal from the beginning was to create an example of the holistic coexistence of man with the ecosystem that surrounds him. We hope that this goal will be successfully met in ECOSCAPES II.
