The 3rd International Rotary Fellowship through Gastronomy took place from 6 to 8 February 2026, organized by the Rotary Club of Ioannina. The meeting continued a tradition that began in 2024, initiated by the Panorama and Alexandroupolis Rotary Clubs in Volakas, Drama and was followed in 2025 by the Rotary Club of Yambol, Bulgaria, steadily strengthening Rotary friendship across the Balkans.
This year’s event was hosted at the premises of "The Land Beyond”, helping to create a warm and welcoming environment for meeting, networking, and exchanging experiences.
The programme included a welcome dinner featuring traditional Epirote flavours, while the highlight of the three-day gathering was a wine-tasting experience with selected local wines paired with creative dishes. The experience was curated by the Epirus Gastronomy Club, with the charismatic Theodoros Alexiou presenting the history and guiding the tasting experience.
Through this gathering, Rotarians from different districts, countries and regions strengthened their bonds, discovered the culture and products of Epirus and contributed to the establishment of a tradition that promotes voluntary contribution to the community and progress. Due to rainy weather, the three-day event allowed only limited walking activities.
